Helmut Newton – SUMO

TASCHEN and Helmut Newton's monumental work of art, the Helmut Newton SUMO, shook the record books. With an edition of 10,000 signed and numbered copies, it quickly sold out and subsequently skyrocketed in value. In 2000, a special autographed copy was sold at auction in Berlin for €317,000 - the most expensive book of the 20th century.
