Authors Anna Cabrera and Vanessa Murphy first met in 2008 and quickly discovered their mutual passion for exquisite food and beverages like wine, sangría, and vermouth. Hailing from Barcelona and a frequent resident of Spain, respectively, they've been inseparable since. The idea for their exclusive Dublin restaurant, Las Tapas de Lola, was born out of their longing for authentic Spanish dishes from their hometown and travels. Tapas, the ultimate party food and conversation starter (perfect for first dates!), can be enjoyed at a table, bar, or as finger food. Sharing is the cornerstone of this culinary tradition, allowing for the sampling of multiple dishes without commitment. The recipes featured in this book reflect Anna and Vanessa's preferred methods, but Spain offers countless variations depending on the region, city, village, bar, or family.
